Question: Do you find your job challenging?

Yes – that is the simple answer. In fact I find it a bit daunting at times. In research I find most of what I do is face problems, whether they are experimental (trying to find out why my equipment/device doesn’t work properly) or theoretical (understand what my results show and why). Sometimes there is an easy solution, but often it can take a while (weeks or months). And it is those tougher problems that challenge me to think outside the box and dig deep to root out a solution. But when I finally crack it- then it is one of the most fantastic moments! You jump up and dance around!
