  I guess when I started looking at nanowires it was in 2006, at that time I guess they were relatively new and exciting. Something so small that I couldn’t see and yet have such importance in our technological lives… when you think about how big our mobile phones were just 5-10 years ago, and now we have smart phones, lighter laptops, and flat screen TVs. Soon we will have flexible mobile phones that we can wrap around our wrist and be transparent. This is all because of nanotechnology! It is incredible watching the world’s technology change before our eyes.

Thanks for answering, nano-wires sound really interesting! Although I don’t think I like the sound of transparent phones- I’d lose them. 🙂
