      Hi,

What kind of maths? We learn about a large range of maths… For experimental work we learn about statistics and probability, to help decide if our results were lucky or unlucky.

Have you come across differentiation and integration? This maths is called calculus and is very useful when working out how things change.

We also learn about imaginary numbers in a subject called algebra. These turn out to be very useful when describing waves – waves are everywhere is physics!
